Gov. Tony Evers Announces Pamela Boivin as New WEDC Board Member

Gov. Tony Evers has appointed Pamela Boivin to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) board. She fills the position left vacant by Willie Smith’s resignation.

“Pamela brings valuable experience and dedication to the WEDC Board,” Gov. Evers said in a press release. “Her expertise will help us advance our mission to support all Wisconsin communities and ensure everyone has the chance to thrive.”

Boivin is the executive director of Woodland Financial Partners, Inc. (WFP), a Native community development financial institution (CDFI) that offers alternative financing and development services to entrepreneurs and small businesses across eleven federally recognized Tribes in Wisconsin.

“I’m honored by the governor’s appointment to the WEDC,” Boivin said. “The WEDC is crucial for fostering innovation, business development, and job creation in our state. I look forward to working with the WEDC team to strengthen Wisconsin’s business environment and support diverse business growth.”
